The primary coverage approved for care at Beacon of Enlightenment, NFP, is Medicaid. If using an Employee Assistant Program or insurance company, please contact them beforehand to be sure your sessions will be authorized. If you have an authorization number, we request that you bring that authorization number to your first session. Please note that all cancellations require a 24 hour notice. For your first session, you will need to bring your insurance/Medicaid card and driver's license.

We are committed to providing you with excellent care and we are happy to discuss our professional fees with you at any time. Cost of care is on a sliding scale to reflect income availability. Your clear understanding of our professional fees is very important to our professional relationship.
We require that you pay for all routine deductibles/co-payments at the time of office visit. We accept cash, check, and most credit cards (no American Express / Amex) as forms of payment.
Unless other arrangements have been made, we require a valid credit card to be put on file so that we can collect any charges as soon as your insurance carrier assigns the appropriate amount of client responsibility. During the time you leave the credit card on file, if it expires or otherwise becomes uncollected, we expect you to promptly provide a new method of payment.
Insurance Availability
As stated above, Medicaid is the primary coverage utilized by our patients. If you wish to use private insurance, we accept a variety of plans (call us for verification). Please note: pricing is available on a sliding scale to reflect income.
